WORKFORCE PROJECTIONS

At the end of 2005 there were 17 individuals in New Zealand holding FACP (AChSHM) qualifications. Only ten of these people are active in sexual health specialist practice. Overseas studies suggest a specialist to population ratio of 1:100,000. New Zealand currently has nowhere near this ratio.
